DSS interrogates Don Jazzy and Tiwa Savage over political utterances against President Buhari's administration

Popular Nigerian music producer and Mavins Record boss, Micheal Ajereh aka Don Jazzy and Tiwatope Savage aka Tiwa Savage were said to have been invited for questioning by the DSS over alleged political utterances especially on social media against the President Buhari's regime.

Earlier this year when the cases of rape across the country rose to an unimaginable percentage, Tiwa Savage on her twitter handle started an online movement with hastag "WeAreTired" which engaged her followers and other Nigerians on Twitter. The movement kicked against rape, corruption and other ills faced by the citizens of the country thereby calling on the Buhari's administration to act immediately to save Nigerians from them.

With Don Jazzy, Tiwa got an invitation from the DSS two weeks ago in Lagos and were warned sternly to desist from posts and utterances against the president on social media to avoid the wrath of the president. Ever since they got back from the DSS office, Don Jazzy and Tiwa Savage seems to have reduced their active social media presence. Don Jazzy was said to have deleted some his tweets about the situation of the country while the #WeAreTired movement has not been operating since then.

Other celebrities like Yemi Alade and Wake have also been reportedly invited by the Lagos State Police Commissioner, Zubairu Muazu to stop posting ills against Buhari's government to avoid punishment.
