300 level student of UI crushed to death after falling into a machine in WAW soap factory



Gbadebo Richard, a 300 level student of UI has been crushed to death by a factory machine in a WAW soap factory in Ibadan, Oyo state.

SaharaReporters gathered that the unfortunate accident happended at the Oluyole factory of Henkel Nigerian Limited, the producers of WAW detergents and soap.

The deceased was on night shift and was said to have fallen into one of the factory machine. After he fell, the other workers were not aware of the accident untill they saw blood dripping from one side of the machine.

The family of late Richard was not informed about the incident by the company. They got a call from an unknown number and it led to a minor chasos at the entrance of the company. Richard's father later entered the company with a plastic bag where he parked the body of his son and had it deposited in a morgue by an ambulance.

Richard was a student of the department of European Studies in the Faculty of Arts, University of Ibadan.
