Schools to reopen as FG considers morning, afternoon classes

Schools will be resuming soon as the Federal Government is considering to sectionalise classes for primary, secondary and tertiary institutions.

This is coming after the chairman Presidential Task Force on COVID-19, Boss Mustapha announced that the FG would soon roll out guidelines for reopening of schools.

The Minister of State of Education, Emeka Nwajiuba during a briefing by the Presidential Task Force on COVID-19 on Wednesday faulted reports about schools reopening on the 8th of June.  He however gave assurance that schools would be reopened after certain checks have been carried out. In his words, he said:
"We may have classes in the morning and classes in the afternoon so that we will have the whole of the infrastructure divided provided they can serve us. I am not sure we will have classes at night. But we can do with morning and afternoon for now.”
