JUST IN: EFCC arrests immediate past Governor of Anambra state, Willie Obiano

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission on Thursday arrested the immediate former Anambra State Governor, Willie Obiano at the Murtala Muhammad International Airport Lagos.

Obiano, who has been on the Commission’s watchlist, was arrested at about 8.30pm.

Channels TV reported that the ex Governor on his way out of the country to Houston, Texas in the United States.

This is coming few hours after the ex Governor officially handed over power to the new Governor of Anambra state, Chukwuma Soludo.
