Abia State University bans students from driving personal cars and displaying wealth in school premises
The Management of Abia State University, Uturu has banned students from bringing personal cars and displaying wealth inside the school premises.
This was made known in a circular seen by The Mantle Media on Wednesday, 2nd February, 2022.
The circular which was signed by the School's registrar Dr. Acho Elendu reads
"Management of Abia State University, Uturu has banned the use of personal vehicles by students and flagrant display of wealth on campus.
Henceforth, only staff and accredited visitors would be allowed to drive their vehicles into the campus.
Any student who violates this directive, which is in the interest of the University community, shall face severr disciplinary action.
Please be guided."
Abia State University has joined other tertiary institutions like Adekunle Ajasin University, Akungba, Ondo state, Federal University Oye-Ekiti, who placed bans on students bringing their personal cars to school.
