Tragedy as over 20 Passengers Die In Kano Boat mishap

As per Daily Trust, the boat, with 47 travelers on board, capsized while shipping a few grown-ups and students of Madinatu Islamiyya School from Badau town going to Bagwai. 

The students were supposed to be going to take an interest in the Maulud festivity denoting the birth of Prophet Mohammed SAW. 

Affirming the occurrence, the representative for the Kano State Fire Service, Malam Saminu Abdullahi, who noticed that the mishap occurred at around 9:15pm, attested that 20 bodies had been recuperated while the rescue activity was continuous. 

"Just seven people were saved while the remaining parts of those that kicked the bucket had been stored in an emergency clinic," he added.
