'Sylvester Oromoni agreed to be beaten. He willingly drank engine oil as part of his cult initiation process' - Kemi Olunloyo
Controversial investigative journalist, Kemi Olunloyo has Sylvester Oromoni, the late Dowen College student willingly wanted to join cult as regards claims that he was beaten up by his seniors for refusing to join cult
She made this known in a Twitter space conversation.
The Investigative Journalist also said Sylvester willingly drank engine oil which was gotten from a housemaster's car as part of the initiation process.
Kemi concluded that the victim acted based on peer pressure and was ready to do anything to join the clique.
She said:
"He was under peer pressure. They told him we have to beat you, they beat him. They told him you have to drink this stuff, he drank engine oil - the engine oil one of the boys got hold of from a housemaster's car.
That's what investigative journalism is all about. People from the inside feeding Kemi with information. The Governor won't like it, the police chief won't like it but that's not my scope. At the end of the day, Sylvester did all they wanted him to do.."
