What Mikel Obi always told me about Nigeria - John Terry, Chelsea legend, reveals

Terry was recently in Nigeria to feature in a game tagged "Battle of the Greats" at Onikan Stadium.

According to him, Mikel, a former Super Eagles captain, who he described as a proud man and friend, always told him how beautiful Nigeria is.

During his time at Chelsea, he played alongside Nigeria ex-internationals such as Mikel, Victor Moses, and Celestine Babayaro.

Speaking at a press conference, Terry, said, "I got to play with some big legends from Nigeria.

"He always made it clear to us English players how beautiful his country was and how much passion you guys showed."
