UEFA cancels the 'Away-Goal' rule in all European competitions
The announcement was made UEFA President Aleksander Ceferin after he confirmed that the away goal rule was dissuading teams from playing attacking football.
The away goal rule which has been in place for more than half a century will no longer be used to determine Knockout stages in the UEFA Champions League, Europa League, and the newly former UEFA conference League.
