#BBNaija5: Lai Mohammed tells NBC to stop BBNaija 5 broadcast

The Minister of Information and Culture, Lai Mohammed has asked the National Broadcasting Commission (NBC) to stop the broadcast of the BB Naija season 5 reality show.

The minister said the show should not be broadcast because of the Covid-19 global pandemic.

This development is coming up after reports gathered that there had been a rift between MultiChoice Ltd and the NBC.

However, organizers of the BBNaija season 5 had replied NBC stating that the Lagos State safety commission approved of the show after they met up with certain health requirements. They also added that the housemates all went on the mandatory 14-days self isolation before coming for the show and that the house had been also fumigated.
