Oyo state schools likely to reopen not minding the increased cases of coronavirus

Oyo state governor, Seyi Makinde has said that schools would resume not minding the increased numbers of Coronavirus in the state.

In his words, he said
       
        "I was having a discussion with private schools owners and the schools are closed.
My idea is, we need to let the parents know that we are taking this time at home as long vacation for the children, and we are hopeful that schools will be open by July 15th. When we resume, children will complete the two weeks of the second term and immediately start the third term."
