IG withdraws police escort from E-Money, orders probe

The Inspector-General of police Mohammed Adamu has ordered the probe of popular Anambra Billionaire and chairman, Five Star group Emeka Okonkwo (E-Money).

The PUNCH gathered that the IG ordered the probe after a report arrived his desk over the flamboyant lifestyle and excess abuse of police escorts by E-Money.

The IG immediately sent orders to the Lagos State Police command to withdraw all six policemen attached to him.

The report which got to the IG stated that the policemen attached to E-Money were being used like domestic servants, carrying umbrellas, opening doors and doing menial jobs for him.

The police have also confirmed that more celebrities like E-Money are on their watch list.
